Literally everything about the property was excellent. We stayed in the loft suite with a gorgeous view of the caldera and the sea. The suite had three main view points, the balcony on the ground floor, the large viewing window on the first floor facing the beds (the first thing you see when you wake up is the azure ocean and caldera), and the large terrace on the first floor with the private pool at the edge giving the impression of an infinity pool. The pool is not heated, but the manager mentioned that they are considering adding this feature which would make the experience even better especially during May, when the water temperature is slightly chilly. The second thing I’d like to highlight is the hotel staff. I have seldom seen such amazing staff from the reception to restaurant to housekeeping. In particular, the lady at the front desk (Kate) stands out! She was fabulous, arranged for a private yacht tour as well as an island tour, both of which turned out to be lovely! She was accommodating, and arranged for an early checkin and late checkout, and even packed the complementary wine from the room that we hadn’t tried. The restaurant had a very good breakfast. They can perhaps do a bit more on the seafood side for lunch and dinner menus, but nothing to complain about in particular. The food, overall, was good and we ate several times during the course of our stay. Santorini is too beautiful to see just once in your lifetime, so when I come back the next time, I’ll, for sure, choose Akrotiri over the crowded Oia or Fira, and this property again!

We loved everything about this hotel. Our room was lovely, bright and spacious. The toiletries were beautiful… the bed was enormous and very comfy & the rain shower was spot on! The hot tub was situated perfectly on our terrace with stunning views over the Caldera. The water was lovely and warm too so we could relax in there anytime of the day or night. All of the staff are super professional and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Nektarios & the team on reception were all incredibly helpful from the second we arrived. Nektarios showed us where all the key points of interest were on a map and how to get to them, he arranged for us to hire an ATV and also helped source and book a restaurant in Oia so we could watch the sunset over dinner. The hotel is perfectly located… Personally, we consider Akrotiri to be the best area to stay on the island. it takes about 40 minutes to drive into Oia & a taxi will cost c. 60 euros each way. It’s only a 5 minute stroll from the town of Akrotiri where there is a variety of lovely tavernas and restaurants . Theofanis was a particular favourite of ours. They have a Greek night on Saturdays and the food is always superb. We hired an ATV to explore the island - which was great fun. We visited Oia / Fira / Perissa etc., but we were always grateful to return the the peace and tranquillity of Akrotiri and the Accroterra Rosa ❤️

This hotel has everything you would ever want. I already have recommended it for my friends and family if they ever will visit Santorini, to book a room from this hotel. We took the honeymoon suite which was absolutly breathtaking. The hotel itself is located in a nice more quiet part of Santorini (Which I preferred) away from the tourist hordes. The Manager, receptionist and the staff were kind and caring. The Breakfast was good and the overall service was out of this world. I couldn’t even say one bad thing from this hotel. Thank you Acroterra for this unforgettable experience!

I loved everything!, from the facilities and view (including my private plunge pool overlooking the Caldera), to the lovely and responsive staff (who also helped us plan our itinerary and made arrangements prior to our arrival, shout to the receptionist Kate!), to the amazing food (even packed breakfast for us when we had to leave very early for the airport on the day of departure), to the relaxing spa session, and down to the lovely ambience of the place! It was definitely worth the price and would highly recommend this 5-star hotel to others!

Amazing staff (Kate, Nektarios, George, Katerina, Julio, Kostas, Nasos, Daria, Vaggos, Stathis & Andreas) - extremely hospitable and helpful whenever required. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable throughout our entire stay. Incredible breakfast included, food is all made to order and there is an extremely wide selection of options. Very relaxing location, away from the noises and crowds of Oia and Thira, but still close enough to easily reach there for day trips.
